London : Happy or Grief?

  LONDON | JANUARY 22nd 2023 It has always been a dream to go overseas and be in cold-weather country (at least once!). It still remains as a dream until 'the thing' happened which turned out to be the reason to my recent existence in the rhetorical place (read, London). I cannot precisely describe on how I felt to know that I will be going there in less than 2 weeks. Was it happy or sad or thrilled or what. I don't know! Oh ya, just to clear up thing, this short trip was initially made as a present for my birthday and it was fully sponsored by *** (Allah bless you). OK, continue. So, that night I received a message from my husband telling that he got the tickets for us to London and asked me to settle the leave & the acknowledgement form (government thingy) soonest possible. Settled.  2 weeks preparation did not make any of us ready.

I was busy decluttering my house. Yup. Every single thing. Some of the stuffs were still in tins and bottles that have not been opened but since I had no idea to whom should I give it to, I have decided to throw it all the way. Such a waste! Damn it.


I cleared up the fridge and now the unwanted dishes to go into the bin. Nevertheless, I had my lunch first. The recycle bin was full and I was thinking on where to dump all these things to.

I felt sorry for Neil. He was such a good owner. By the way, Neil was a traveller and of course he has had his foot in Malaya. But for now, he focused on his family and business. Besides, he already bank-in my deposit. Such a kind-hearted person he is. I suddenly thought about the owner when I was in Ireland. He did not even returned my deposit. Ceh. i could buy half of the market with that 500 euro.

I had to make sure the house was clean and clear before I leave. It was only the backyard where I did not have mowing machine to clear the lawn. I am sorry Neil. Will have a picture of it.

Surprisingly there were three dead frogs in the pool. The England Prince Charming was already dead. Three of it!

I was still decluttering my house. I have done with the upper storey and now the toiletries. Plus, I have been moving around England 10 times and still did not remember the last time I did the chores. I think my kids were the one who did the cleaning. Having lots of kids was not that bad.
