London : Happy or Grief?

  LONDON | JANUARY 22nd 2023 It has always been a dream to go overseas and be in cold-weather country (at least once!). It still remains as a dream until 'the thing' happened which turned out to be the reason to my recent existence in the rhetorical place (read, London). I cannot precisely describe on how I felt to know that I will be going there in less than 2 weeks. Was it happy or sad or thrilled or what. I don't know! Oh ya, just to clear up thing, this short trip was initially made as a present for my birthday and it was fully sponsored by *** (Allah bless you). OK, continue. So, that night I received a message from my husband telling that he got the tickets for us to London and asked me to settle the leave & the acknowledgement form (government thingy) soonest possible. Settled.  2 weeks preparation did not make any of us ready.

CERITA BINATANG

Memiliki bulu lebat yang putih mulus merupakan kelebihan yang dianugerahkan kepada kambing biri-biri. Namun, ternyata ia menjadi kecemburuan kepada ayam jantan dan seringkali menjaja cerita kepada haiwan lain seperti ulat bulu dan 3 ekor angsa. Tetapi, kambing biri-biri tetap sabar dengan tohmahan yang dilempar, kerana ia berpegang kepada kata-kata “When you are angry… smile and stay in silence. You will be calm and happy…”, dimana ia diam dan sentiasa tersenyum apabila marah. Ia juga tahu bahawa “Say nice things and utter good words to others”, dimana ia terapkan untuk sentiasa bercakap baik. Seperti yang dipesan gurunya, badak sumbu, iaitu “always be kind to others and you will feel more at ease…” dimana sentiasalah berbuat baik untuk bahagia. Ayam jantan yang  insaf kemudian memberitahu kecemburuannya kepada kambing biri-biri kerana ia “will tell the truth No matter what happens…” walaupun pahit harus juga katakan. Begitulah jika kita berpergang kepada kata-kata “Be a good person Be the best!” bahawa perlu untuk menjadi baik dan terbaik.
